Do you believe in signs and synchronicities?
I do!
I know they are messages, perhaps from the Universe, my higher self, or something else mystical, magical, and unknown. I see them all the time. Sometimes they don’t make sense right away but then later I’ll have an “A-ha!” moment and it all comes together.
I took this picture on my farm in North Carolina. I wandered to the back of my sister’s house to take a closer look at this amazing green spider. I looked to the left of the spider, and there was a blade of grass, that had grown and formed into a perfect “B”. B for Bela! It was partially hidden, I would have never seen it had I not been seeking out the spider.
So were they trying to tell me, this spider and this blade of grass? It took me just a minute, as I realized, I am the weaver of my own life. Just as nature weaves beautiful things, we all take those threads and form them into aspects of our lives that create our reality. We have that power.
Sometimes we forget. Difficult times and unexpected challenges pull us away from the weaving work that we, as spiritual weavers, are meant to continue. In vain, we try different ways of creating, sometimes trying to pick up large rocks or attempting to mold sand into permanent structures. Trying to rebuild our castle, our home, our life. But the rocks are too heavy or the sand simply flows through our fingers.
The “B” was a reminder that I needed to get back to weaving the web I’d already started. The weaving is effortless in many ways, creating a symmetrical natural life. Not heavy with burdens or collapsable like sand. I’d been off track, focusing on things out of fear, instead of focusing on the things that mattered and weaving of my reality, my desires, my visions of myself and the world.
You already see it. It’s probably right there in front of you, in the grass or a sunset, telling you how and what to weave.
